ERGO Austria defends its title as Service-Champion in the insurance industry for the third year in a row and even improved last years’ result. The ERGO Products too were able to assert themselves in polls and rankings: The motor insurance managed to convince with the best price-performance ratio at the ÖGVS poll “Motor Insurers 2017”. Moreover, the personal accident and occupational disability insurance also held onto their last years’ success.
Three times over Service-Champion
As usual, the ServiceValue GmbH analyst firm prepared major service rankings for Austria this year in cooperation with Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main. The rankings were based on customer assessments of the service they received: Some 71,000 Austrian consumers were asked to report on their satisfaction with the service of 250 companies from 28 business sectors.
ERGO Austria was able to repeat its success of the last two years and once again emerged as the top company in the insurance sector. ERGO’s service rating of 74.6 % was significantly higher than the sector average of 70.2 %, which clearly made ERGO the Number 1 insurance company in the survey. What’s more, ERGO even surpassed its own result from 2016 (71.2 %). As ERGO can now be found among the Top-100 it receives the bronze medal status. The insurance rankings were based on customer assessments of 14 Austrian insurance companies.
“The centre of our companys’ philosophy is the general understanding for our customers’ needs and requests. For this reason, customer service and it’s continuous improvement are the top priorities at ERGO. Our demand for the best quality is exceptionally high when it comes to this development. This serves the reason why we are indeed pleased to be elected the “Service-Champion” for the third successive year. It certainly proves the correct implementation of our strategy”, states Josef Adelmann, CEO of ERGO Versicherung AG.
Success for the motor and personal accident insurance
ERGO once again finished third out of 15 overall in the latest “Motor Insurers 2017” study conducted by the ÖGVS consumer and market research company. The study’s rankings were put together on the basis of insurance premium rates, transparency and comfort criteria and customer service assessments. ERGO seemingly had the best price-performance ratio when it comes to the category “insurance premium rates” as it is now number one. Just like last year, ERGO takes third place in the category “transparency and comfort criteria”. The same category is won by the company in the ÖGVS study “Personal Accident Insurers 2017”, thanks to the “extensive, informative Internet appearance”.
Excellent rating for occupational disability insurance
Since 2007, the MORGEN&MORGEN analyst firm has been assessing the occupational disability insurance products offered by Austrian insurers. The M&M Rating occupational disability Austria rates the quality of the conditions of the occupational disability’s insurance rate. ERGOs occupational disability insurance was rewarded with five stars, which is the highest possible overall-rating.
