ERGO Versicherung achieves three top ratings in the “Branchen-Monitor 2020” rankings – Austria’s most extensive ranking system for customer satisfaction, customer service and value for money.
In the Customer Service rankings, ERGO Versicherung came out on top in the motor insurance and personal accident insurance categories, and it also captured a top-five position in the personal accident insurance category of the Value for Money rankings. The “Branchen-Monitor 2020” rankings, which were produced by the ÖGVS – “Gesellschaft für Verbraucherstudien” a consumer research association and Austria’s NEWS magazine, collected 320,000 statements in which customers expressed their opinions on a total of 1,894 companies from 180 business sectors.
“ERGO in Austria has been performing very well over the last few years in the area of customer service in particular, and this is also confirmed by the fact that we’ve been named Service Champion five times”, says Dr. Philipp Wassenberg, CEO of ERGO Versicherung AG. “Our goal over the next five years is to significantly outpace average market growth in the segment for property-casualty insurance. Our selection as Business Champion in both the motor insurance and personal accident insurance categories makes us all the more happy because it confirms that we are on the right track.”
ERGO motor insurance: Skip the first month’s premium
Sicher Mobil is ERGO’s successful motor insurance product – and several new features and campaigns were launched for it at the beginning of 2020.
Motor third-party liability insurance:
- You can now opt for insurance cover of up to € 30 million. The legal minimum cover in Austria is currently €7.6 million. With ERGO motor third-party liability insurance, customers stay on the safe side.
- The “Get to zero and stay there forever” option can be selected for the no-claims bonus scales (“bonus-malus” system) 0, -1 and -2: If a third-party liability claim is made against you and you have a no-claims bonus rating of 0, -1 or -2, your rating will not change as long as your policy with ERGO remains in effect.
Motor own damage insurance:
- New car replacement: 100 % reimbursement of your vehicle’s original value if the car is totalled beyond repair within one year after the initial registration date; better cover in the second year as well.
- If a stone or rock causes damage that requires the windscreen to be replaced, customers with ERGO comprehensive cover pay a lower deductible in May and June 2020 if they have the windscreen replaced by our partner Carglass.
ERGO motor insurance policies can also be obtained quickly and easily via our website – and ERGO will cancel the first month’s premium for all customers who obtain a policy online before 30 June 2020. You’ll find further information here.
ERGO personal accident insurance: Fully protected in your free time
The statutory accident insurance system in Austria does not cover damages for people who have an accident in their free time. Only private personal accident insurance can offer optimal protection against the negative financial impact that an accident can have. ERGO’s Sicher Aktiv Plus personal accident insurance policy can be tailored to create highly customised accident protection packages. Customers here can choose between four basic modules and eight additional modules. This ERGO Versicherung product remains focused on offering very extensive cover in the event of severe injury. This is important, as an ongoing or permanent disability means customers have to adjust to a completely new situation in their life. A Sicher Aktiv Plus policy provides the comprehensive cover needed to ensure this adjustment will be successful. You’ll find further information on ERGO personal accident insurance here.
