Thomas Schöllkopf, Chairman of the Board of Management of ERGO Austria International AG, Vienna, will celebrate his 60th birthday on 10 February 2018 and will step down from his position on the Board of Management on 31 March 2018. Mr. Schöllkopf has also decided to end his professional career and go into retirement after he leaves ERGO. This decision was made for personal reasons and has the full support of the company’s Supervisory Board.

Alexander Ankel, Chairman of the Board of Management of ERGO International AG, states: “Over the last few years, Thomas Schöllkopf has played a major role in the development of international activities at ERGO, especially in Austria and Eastern Europe. I respect his wish to retire and I express my heartfelt thanks to him for his dedication and achievements.”
Thomas Schöllkopf joined ERGO in 2005. In 2008, he was appointed to the Board of Management of ERGO International AG, with responsibility for Region Central and Eastern Europe. After the reorganisation of ERGO International, he continued to perform this function from 2017 on as Chairman of the Board of Management of ERGO Austria International AG.
